Hand built with red clay. Red clay needs to be shown off which is why the outside is left raw and the inside is glazed with a beautiful crystalline glaze. Earth and the galaxy. one universe. Can be used as a serving bowl for anything. A friend I gifted a similar one to, used her's to serve olives.
